    1,100 multiple-choice questions covering nine areas of law and 22 subtopics, precisely following the NALA Exam Structure. You have lots of practice with 50 questions for each subtopic.     Study guide for each of the nine areas of law tested. Each guide is five to 10 pages and is an outline which covers the 22 subtopics identified in the NALA Exam Structure. Keyword lists are also provided for each area of law and they complement the study guides. All questions and possible answers for the quiz questions are taken from keyword lists and the study guides.

    Working with a study group helps set your focus and your motivation. We provide a six-week study schedule for completing about 200 quiz questions per week and reviewing a study guide. That's about 4 to 5 hours per week in as many increments as you would like. You may work ahead or adjust the study schedule as desired. Each person builds their own confidence and comfort levels.

  • What is the price? What is included? What about access to instructors?

    The AchieveVia Knowledge Course is $249. Pathways includes two Zoom conferences, 1,100 multiple-choice questions, a 100-question practice test, a 5- to 10-page study guide for each of the nine areas of law, and keywords from which questions and answers are derived. You also receive email access to instructors to ask questions about Pathways, AchieveVia, or the CP Paralegal Program.

  • How does AchieveVia’s CP Knowledge Exam Review compare to the NALA CP Knowledge Exam?

    The Knowledge course for the Pathways Study Group has the same focus as the NALA CP Knowledge Exam. Pathways' course has chapters on the same areas of law as on the NALA Knowledge Exam. The 22 subtopics are also the same.

  • How do I sign up for the Pathways Study Group for the Knowledge Exam?

    1). Go to AchieveVia.org and sign up if you haven't already created an account. 2). enroll in Pathways, CP Exam Review Knowledge Course.

  • What happens after I enroll in the course?

    You begin your journey to successfully pass the NALA CP Knowledge Exam! A Zoom conference is held to introduce you to the instructors and to review key parts of the NALA CP exams and Pathways' course. All parts and chapters of Pathways are open to you as soon as you enroll. There are no prerequisites for any parts and there is no required order in which you must work. AchieveVia remembers your spot if you need to step away. AchieveVia tracks your course progress with a percentage of how many parts you have completed. At any time, you can see your completion percentage.

  • How do I know which parts are completed?

    AchieveVia has a completion meter which you will see when you log in and when you move from one part to another part of the course. It tracks when you open each part of a chapter and when you complete a quiz question. AchieveVia is designed for when you have time to study, not for when an instructor enters the classroom or starts an online class at a specific hour. You can start and stop at any point at any time of day or night and AchieveVia will remember where you left the course, if you are called away from your study.

  • May I start with any chapter?

    Yes. This is your journey! Pathways allows a start at any point in the course. You may start with the first chapter, the first quiz in the first chapter, any other chapter, or any other quiz in any other chapter. You may start where you think you are the strongest or where you think you need to focus your study. It is up to you where you start!

  • Will I get any feedback?

    Yes, after every question and after every 10-question quiz. After you complete a question, you will receive the correct answer along with an answer explanation. You will also receive a percentage score after you complete a quiz. Each quiz appears in its entirety with the correct answers so you can review all 10 quiz questions or retake the quiz again immediately after you complete the quiz. Immediate feedback increases your learning and confirms your understanding of the tested material. Every effort is made to help you on your journey! These scores tell you how you are doing in an area of law and where you need to concentrate your studies. You may retake a quiz at any time. Improving your scores and knowledge is an important part of your journey.

  • Do I need to finish a quiz if I need to stop to attend to other matters?

    No. When you log back in, AchieveVia will remember where you stopped and you may start at that point. You could also start somewhere else. AchieveVia will show that you have that unfinished quiz, which you may come back to at any time.

  • What is the pass guarantee?

    AchieveVia guarantees that you will pass the NALA Knowledge Exam with diligent participation. If not, a member of the Pathways Study Group will have access again to the AchieveVia Knowledge Review Course free of charge for another six months. This would be expected to be taken without another Pathways Study Group because a Study Group would not normally be immediately available to the member. Other conditions to be met for the guarantee: 1). Must have completed all of AchieveVia's questions and lessons with a score of 90 % or higher on the quizzes and test (you can raise your score by retaking) before taking the NALA Knowledge Test, including all 1,100 quiz questions and the 100-question practice test. 2). Must have attended all Pathways Study Group conference calls. 3). Must have taken the NALA Knowledge Exam within 3 months after the end of the 6-month enrollment in Pathways Study Group. In other words, a member has 9 months to study, be a part of a study group, and take the exam from the date of enrollment in the Pathways Study Group.
